Mountain Hardwear Xenon Pant - Women's - 2008

Mountaineering and ski touring are taxing enough without suffering from wet-leg syndrome. The Gore-Tex Paclite laminate in the Mountain Hardwear Women’s Xenon Pants blocks moisture and breathes during your ascent and descent. The durable nylon shell doesn’t mind rock and ice altercations, and the full side zips allow for venting during tough uphill climbs. Articulated knees and a gusseted inseam provide plenty of room for deep knee bends.

Bottom Line: Bring your backcountry comfort level up a notch.

Great Choice

I used these pants for a mountaineering class and Mt. Hood, and I really liked them. They full size zips and velcro made them super easy to get on and off, and they weren't hard to put back together after using the full zip either. Comfort is also good, and they come high enough on the waist without feeling too high. (I hate really high pants!)
