You might not think a trip into the attic calls for the Mountain Hardwear Women’s Vitality Zip T, but it’s cold up in that space, and you can also get sweaty pretty quickly when you start moving all those boxes around. Wait a minute, what are we suggesting? That you clean out your attic when you could be climbing or hiking with this stretchy, fast-drying, wicking performance shirt? The close-fitting cut certainly feels better outside under a blue fall sky that up in your cramped attic.

Is this good as a layer for snow sports?

Hey Elizabeth,This would do okay as a layer. Just as personal preference I like more Merino Wool for layering as it still insulates well when it's wet. Just food for thought.---------------------------------This would be a great baselayer. Turns out Polyester insulates when it is wet as well and still drys faster than wool. Also, there is 'elastane' in this piece which gives it great stretch. It is a great baselayer and a great stand alone piece for cool morning runs. Hope this info helps!
