I have the viperine 2 series tent and was wondering if this footprint will work for my tent?

It could, but at that point it would just be a really expensive tarp. You'd have to fold in at least one side and probably the bottom side, or pull it forward into the vestibule. I wouldn't recommend it; you can just buy a cheap tarp or sheet of plastic that could be cut to size, lighter, and MUCH less expensive!
