Mountain Hardwear Ultralamina 32 Sleeping Bag: 32 Degree ThermicMicro - Women's

If you like to travel ultralight in the backcountry, take the new Mountain Hardwear Women's Ultralamina 32 Sleeping Bag. Its ThermoMicro insulation keeps you warm in damp, chilly weather. Not only is this sleeping bag lightweight, but it compresses to a mere 6.5 inches by 10 inches. Mountain Hardwear reduced this bag's weight by welding its insulation directly to the shell, eliminating the need for baffles. The lack of baffles also helps the insulation stand up to repeated stuffing and washing. Partial zippers on both sides of the sleeping bag shave ounces, but still let you sit up and read. The DWR-coated Ultralamina 32 stays warm even when it's wet, and the women's-specific cut creates increased insulation in the torso and footbox.

Bottom Line: Pack your Mountain Hardwear Ultralamina 32 when you want an ultralight sleeping bag that caters to your physiology.

a little small so size up if you're on the size line ...

If you're close to fitting into a regular size, go to the large -- the regular only fits 5' 5" not 5' 6" as this site states. It says so right on the Mt. Hardwear bag tag, so go figure. Anyhow, if you're a little over 5' 6" you will find this bag to snug and your feet will poke out in the toe box. Otherwise, great lightweight backpacking bag.

Packs up small!

I got this bag in the spring last year and have toted it all over New England with me for the past several months. It is a good warm weather bag (in my opinion but I am always cold). It packs up small and is super light weight for backpacking with. The only down side is the side zipper stops about 1/4 of the way down, making it a pain for those of us who toss and turn in our sleep or have to fit the dog off our bag nonstop. I would recommend it to any women looking for a light weight summer bag.
