Mountain Hardwear Taurine 2 Tent 2-Person 4-Season

Mountain Hardwear designed the Taurine 2 Tent with steep walls, lots of floor space, and massive vestibules for serious comfort when you’re stuck in camp. While this tent uses the same fabrics as Mountain Hardwear’s mountaineering shelters, it includes enough ventilation for use in warmer temps.

  • Double doors for easy entry and exit
  • Double vestibules provide tons of dry storage space
  • Pitch Light configuration lets you use the fly and available footprint together
  • Two SVX windows brighten the interior and let you check the weather
  • Guy-lines increase strength in bad weather

Bottom Line: Your home on the snow-covered trail.

Write your question here...Are there any vents through the rainfly?

Write your question here...Are there any vents through the rainfly? Looks like nice ventilation up high on each end in the main canopy, but I can't tell from the picture whether it would vent with the rainfly on.

Don. Seeing as how it is a double walled tent... it is not necessary to vent the rain fly outside of the venting that the doors take care of themselves. The tent body is vented which helps to mitigate any condensation build up within the tent during use. We want to rain fly to be as water proof as possible and as a matter of fact we give it a 'guaranteed watertight construction' guarantee from from factory. Hope this helps!
