Mountain Hardwear Supernatural 40 Backpack - 2450cu in - 2008

Mountain Hardwear gave the Supernatural 40 Backpack a FitLock harness and load-bearing back-panel to ensure top-notch comfort when you hit the trail. By using a zip-top design instead of a lid and drawcord, Mountain Hardwear was able to streamline the Supernatural 40 Backpack's shape for better hiking performance. A large front stash pocket provides room for overflow, and two side mesh pockets keep water bottles and other small items easily accessible.

Bottom Line: Comfortable fit, streamlined shape.

Is the back panel/yoke interchangeable? I have a size Small and the shoulder yoke barely covers my shoulders no matter how much I cinch it up. And I can't move it up any because then it exposes the velcro on the back. Any suggestions as to where to find a bigger size harness/yoke or how to make it fit better as it is?

ABOVE and BEYOND

The Super Natural 40 backpack can go above and beyond. Pack the gear inside and strap on the extra(coat, sleeping bag,OR attach The (Osprey Daylite Day Pack)for alittle more hauling capacity.
The straping system is very impressive(2 extra straps come w/ the pack.)
The Harness system is like anything else NEW, it has to be worn(broke in)to form with the body.Only using the pack and time will tell. NO rain cover or main compartment mesh pocket come with the model.. Thank you Backcountry for your services another outstand job....

This wouldn't be a bad pack. If you're staying in hotels and don't have to pack a tent or sleeping bag you'll be fine with this size. I personally think that Osprey packs are more comfortable but that's a personal preference. Either way this size, or larger, in most any pack would be work just fine.
