Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Glove - Men's

The Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Glove gives you a versatile, lightweight liner glove that works as well under a thick mountaineering mitt as it does by itself. Seamless fingers provide articulated comfort, and the Power Stretch fleece provides warmth and comfort whether you’re slogging uphill at 14,000 feet or just shoveling your car out of the driveway.

Bottom Line: A light, versatile glove for any backcountry excursion.

glove review

These gloves have worked great this fall on my bike ride to work in temperatures down to 30F. Hoping they can get me though part of the winter.

great gloves

a great lightweight glove for when it's just cold enough where you need something on your hands but a thick windstopper type glove is too warm. They're thin enough to make almost all tasks possible when wearing them so I always carry them when BPing as a backup glove for camp chores. They're not waterproof or windproof and the palms are smooth. I love them because they fit like they were custom made for me.

I am looking for a pair of gloves suitable for running and cycling

I am looking for a pair of gloves suitable for running and cycling in. I typically do my training in the morning before the sun comes up when the temps are in the upper 30s to lower 50s (I'm in FL). I would prefer something that is not too bulky and will cut down on wind. Is this a good choice, and if not, can you recommend something?

Chris S. These would be a great solution for what you are looking for. If you want something that blocks a little bit more wind and may be a little more durable... check out either our Gravity Glove, which is made with Windstopper Fleece and has a leather palm or the Torsion Glove which is thin and light and made with Conduit Softshell material and Pittards Goat Skin leather. If you just want fleece, stretchy and light... stick with these. Hope this helps!

Love these

Just bought these locally and I've played soccer in them, hiked in them etc. Powerstretch is a great fabric. I bought Mediums counting on the "stretch" and have been fine. nice fabric cut and seams are not too heavy on the fingers. Not a complaint, but suggestion...maybe some silicone on the finger tips in spots might add some dexterity...

Warm and breathable. These rock for pretty much any cold weather outdoor adventure you got goin on. I especially like the long wrist cuffs to help keep heat in.

Awesome Liner

By:

I use these as a liner for my mittens, and they are perfect. What i love about them, besides their warmth, is that they stay on my hand when i take my mitten off. Usually i take my mittens off to shovel, change my tunes, tighten my bindings, etc. These keep my hands warm and dextrous for all those technical jobs.

great glove

I need a glove that is easy to dry out, I'm able to wear hiking, and is comfortable. This is it. I picked it for my Appalachian Trail thru-hike, and unfortunately it took me 3 pairs of other types and makes of gloves to find this one.

Love em

Great lightweight glove. My hand measures 8.5 inches from base of hand to tip of middle finger and the XL is perfect.

I got these for chilly backpacking trips. They are pretty awesome. Not bulky at all, yet really warm. The fleece liner is really comfy and warm. They fit true to size.
