Mountain Hardwear Perpetual T-Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's - 2008

The Mountain Hardwear Men's Perpetual T-Shirt wicks moisture and fends off odor during your hike, so you won't gross anyone out when you stop for groceries afterward. The Perpetual T-Shirt's antimicrobial treatment resists the build up of bacteria and the funk that follows. Mountain Hardwear moved the flat-lock shoulder and side seams away from the backpack zone, so you can carry a heavy pack without irritation.

Bottom Line: Smell better than the other trail trodders with Mountain Hardwear's Perpetual Long-Sleeve T-Shirt.

This shirt has what I would call an athletic fit. It is not form fitting but it is not baggy either. It is really similar to a light weight long underwear, weight wise, and would be great for keeping the sun off in the desert... especially in a light color! If you are considering other shirts WITH buttons... check out the Canyon Shirt as it was literally designed for hiking in the desert and has substantial sun protection built in as well as a double tall fold up collar to keep the sun off your neck. Cheers!

Snag Free Comfort

By:

Perhaps the best thing about this shirt is that it doesn't feel synthetic. The VisaEndurance fabric is totally snag free, and feels like a very light cotton fabric (although not quite as soft as the best cottons).

The cut is great, and I really appreciate the attention paid to moving the seams away from backpack straps.

It is amazingly comfortable over a surprisingly wide range of temperatures, and the lack of instant funk common on most (pre-carbon) synthetics is great for everyone in the vicinity... as the drop tag says: "Because there is something called downwind".

I currently own 3 of them!
