While the Mountain Hardwear Women's Mistral Fleece Pants feel cozy enough for a beanbag-and-Western-movie session, they'd actual prefer it if you took them for a run or layered them under your ski pants. Mountain Hardwear made the Mistrals from lightweight Deflection fleece for breathability, warmth, and wind-resistant performance on the trail and the slopes. These mid-layer bottoms' gusseted inseam provides a new dimension of mobility for running, climbing, and skiing, and their semi-fitted design looks decidedly non-frumpy when you pull them on for a jaunt to the store.

So Comfortable!

These pants got me through tough cold days in the mountains! When hiking through waist deep snow I kept my sanity by remembering I had these fleece pants to change into at camp! They and incredibly comfortable, the bottoms are made to keep from dragging on the ground/snow, and they prevent wind from chilling your bones. I strongly recommend these pants.

Hard Decision

These pants are soo comfortable! But I am sending them back. I think if they were available in a smaller size I would try that. As it is they are serveral inches too long on my 5'4 body. They were also puffy around the middle. I don't know if this was because the size was too big or because that is the way they are made. They fit fine every where else except as I said in the length. The only other thing I wish they had done for these pants is put pockets on them. I am 5'4 165 and I ordered an XL.

Got to admit I'm an 8 at the Gap, but have to size up for a lot of active/ski wear since those companies don't seem to size up as much. So these are a bit snug around my hips. But I need the size to fit my (relatively) smaller waist. I still love them, and plan to eat fewer chocolates the rest of the season! Really, really soft & cozy. And love the chocolate color.

I have practically lived in these pants since they arrived about a week ago..incredibly warm..The draw string cord sometimes is a bit irritating against the bare skin and it would be wonderful to have a front pocket..there is no zip rear pocket in the pair I have even tho it is stated such on the spec..I love these pants,tho and wash them and put right back on..the wind chill factor today here was 14 and I was warm and toasty as I walked out to my mailbox..... great purchase

I used the Mountain Hardwear Mistral Fleece Pant every morning this winter and was no longer cold. They are very warm, soft and comfortable. The rise is a little higher than I like, but rolling down the waist fixed that.
