Mountain Hardwear Lightweight Power Stretch Boot Length Tight - Men's

Wear the Mountain Hardwear Men's Lightweight Power Stretch Boot Length Tight under your snow pants for excellent moisture management and light insulation. Made with Polartec Power Stretch fabric, this tight stretches four ways and slides smoothly under other layers. A brushed interior feels great against the skin. Wear the Power Stretch Boot Length Tight alone for a cool morning run.

Bottom Line: It all comes down to smart layering.

check out the woman's version. They look just like those.--------------------------------------------This is a case of the wrong picture up on the site. These are Lightweight Power Stretch Boot Length Tights. Meaning they come down to just above the top of most boots. I wear them under shell pants for skiing and they work great. Hope this helps.

Rainier worthy

By:

Wore these tights under my Mountain Hardwear Makalu pants during my summit attempt of Mt. Rainier and stayed toasty the way up and the way down. Smooth finish moves easily under layers. Tights are very high waisted which is better than riding at the top of your crack but I ended up rolling them down a couple of waist bands worth. And because they are kind of slick you'll definitely need a belt for your pants. Otherwise your pack's waistbelt will give you that undesirable "jailing" "gang banger" effect. All in all a very effective base layer.
