Mountain Hardwear Kiva Lite 4-Person Shelter - 2007

When you want to save on weight or just don't need the full coverage of a tent, pack the Mountain Hardwear Kiva Lite four-person shelter for your next backpacking trip. The Kiva Lite weighs less than four pounds, yet four people can sleep comfortably inside. Set up the triangular shelter with its single pole in the center, and stake down the Kiva's five sides. A zippered door lets you close the shelter completely, and a plastic window lets you see out. If you anticipate biting bugs on your trip, take along Mountain Hardwear's Kiva Lite Mesh Insert, which is sold separately.
