Mountain Hardwear Juggernaut 85 Rolling Gear Bag - 5200cu in - 2008

We heard rumors that Mountain Hardwear's Juggernaut 85 Gear Bag was originally called The Crushinator—but we don't know if that's true. We can see why the name came up, though. The Juggernaut's super strong construction features a welded alloy frame with a steel axle running through it. Buses, jeeps, taxi cabs, baggage handling—the Juggernaut pack scoffs at these obstacles. Its burly urethane skate wheels roll over cracked sidewalk and broken road like a steamroller, and their sealed bearings require next to no maintenance. The front panel's water- and abrasion-resistant HardWear tarp protects your belongings. Mountain Hardwear included a collapsible compartment for muddy shoes or wet towels and compressions straps for load control. Lash this luggage to a roof or a yak's back with the dual daisy chains.

Bottom Line: Pack up the Juggernaut and head off the beaten path for a week or two.

Is there anyone who owns this bag, or has access to one that would be wiling measure the internal and external dimensions? Airlines are strict on bag dimensions for carry-on, and the internal dimensions are what's going to dicate what size gear I can and can't put in --- much needed info before the putrchse. Okay.. it's late and i'm under the influence of lunesta, but.. someone please help us out here!

Used it 1 time on a trip to London from the US and the plastic corner trim pieces used to protect the 4 bottom corner seams are falling off. For the cost of this bag it should be bomb proof. I was dissapointed with Mt. Hdwr because everything I own, except for this bag, is of exceptional quality. If I could do it over again, I would have gotten the NorthFace duffel.

MJS~ it is a little big for a carry-on. At 85 L it is more like a medium sized duffle. Hope this helps.
