Mountain Hardwear Castlewood Softshell Pant - Women's - 2007

The Mountain Hardwear Women’s Castlewood Softshell Pant weighs a mere 12 ounces and gives you the versatility to take on a climb, hike, or backpacking trip in sunny or drizzly weather. Thornguard softshell fabric adds a bit of stretch to ensure total freedom of movement on technical ground, and Mountain Hardwear added a Micro-Chamois lining for a soft feel and a touch or insulation. You can even use the Castlewood Pant as a mid-layer under your hardshell if the weather turns really nasty.

Bottom Line: Hiking pants, climbing pants, everything pants.

Repels dog hair. Used for back country, skate skiing, camping fall hiking. Lov'um.

Waist is too high, but comfortable

These pants are stretchy and comfortable. I'm returning these because the waist is a little too high and they run a little too short for me (5'11''). The pockets on the leg are in a weird location (mid-thigh), but the zippers on the pockets and at the ankles are nice.
