the pictures just don't do this piece justice. The fit and finish are beyond excellent. in the picture it looks like just another sewn-thru down jacket, but it ain't so!! up close, it's obvious that there was a lot of thought and careful design that went into this item.an example is the velcro tab on the inside below the collar- so you can stow the hood in an organized way. i'm impressed. this is a very unique piece- light and extremely warm but still durable and well-made- you cant touch this for twice the money!

I am very impressed with this jacket. The tail is pretty long, the fill is excellent and the overall construction is just what I would expect from Montane - superb. This jacket packs a LOT of warmth and protection for 18oz.
