MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Women's

For frigid belays, deep winter ski tours, and ounce-counting travel, the Montbell Women’s Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket keeps your c ore toasty without weighing you down. With a super-light 15D nylon shell and compressible Exceloft synthetic insulation, this jacket should be in your pack anytime there’s a chill in the air. MontBell added elastic wedges in the cuff and hem for increased comfort and stretch, and the included stuff sack helps this jacket disappear into you pack when the sun comes out.

Bottom Line: Wrap yourself in ultralight warmth.

This brand runs wayyy too small!!

I wear a women's medium in all other brands (North Face, Arcteryx, Patagonia) and this Montbell jacket in a medium was so small that it wouldn't even zip up over me. I wanted to exchange it for one size up but I was afraid that even the large wouldn't fit me so I just returned it for a refund. It looked like a really cool jacket though, the colbalt blue color is awesome!! Wish it fit better!

watch sizing...

Bought this for my wife as a present. Listed sizes are way undersized. Had to return it the day it arrived as it didn't fit. Be sure to buy at least one size larger that you would assume. Didn't read the reviews to that end, as it was on sale.

I should let her write it, but . . .

I hastily ordered my girlfriend (5'5" 135 lbs) the MB UL Down jacket and it turns out a small was too small. it fit, but she'd just have to stand still, while wearing it. Not a lot of room to layer under it, or move around. Had she been (okay, more) endowed, well, it'd really be a tight fit. I think that with all Montbell products, ORDER UP A SIZE! . . . So with a "Wicked fast" return policy, in which BC was now out of the MB UL in medium, I opted for the the UL Thermawrap. in meduim, which arrived before they said it would (wicked, wicked, Fast) and she's a happy camper, (even though she's not a camper, or hiker, or backpacker or . . . ) The Therma wrap is nicely cut, with "V-vents" stretch fabric on the sleeves and waist. She wishes that there was an inside pocket, but adds that, then it would be too tight . . . as for it's other, more rugged qualities, they have yet to be tested, but if it says anything, she likes just wearing it around the house and seems quite comfortable, being such a cold=blooded, gal. She's happy and I am too. Remember, go a size up.

Bought this for backpacking, it's light, it's warm. Layers well. Do follow the sizing chart tho, as they do run small.

Awesome Jacket

This jacket is ultra lightweight, warm and perfect for layering, perfect for alpine adventures. No complaints. It does run small, I am 5'2" 118lbs and medium is perfect. Highly recommend!

liked it but runs small

I ordered this jacket in a small, the size I usually wear, and it fit every where except the hips - super duper tight, so I returned it. But, just trying it on and wearing it for a couple minutes, i did get super toasty. It was very lightweight and packable, perfect for touring, just remember to size up.
