I bought this bag for spring/fall .... Its insanely light at 1 lb 6 ounces ... I'm 6'3 and alittle bigger than the last poster at 245 and felt great, the S.S pulls the down in, but allows it to keep its loft ... Its kept me warm down to its rated 35 degree's with a 100 fleece and beenie .. it does push the limits and wouldn't go below 35 ... but its soft, incredible compression ... down to the width of a soda can just about and comes with a nice sack and storage sack for when your home and not using the bag .... never EVER, store down in a compression sack for extended periods of time ... I will without a doubt buy another montbell bag ... They simply rock.

I bought this bag a few months ago and havent used it yet. But I get it out at least once a week to climb in it cause its awesome. My wife thinks im weird now but at least my bag probably loves me. Im the type of sleeper that regular sleeping bags are just too tight for my shoulder and arms. Even though they are called mummy bags i hate sleeping like a mummy. But this bag allows me to sort of sprawl out and sleep with my head on my arm or something. like I said I haven't used it out in the field yet and I cant wait to. But so far so good!

This bag is terrific. Being 6'3" and 210, I was able to stretch out and move around in comfort. Temperature rating is accurate. Overall a great product. The folks at MontBell have thought of everything and have made camping/backpacking more fun.

I bought this bag almost two years ago, and it has exceeded all my expectations. At 6' 230 LBS, I needed a mummy bag that didn't feel to tight. This bag is great, I got the long version and it fits perfect. The hood it just right, and it's temp rating is generously accurate. I have had it down below 20 degree with baselayers and was plenty warm. Oh ya, it packs smaller than my nalgene too. What more could you ask for. Awesome Bag.

I have taken this bag on outings several times now. After owning montbells down jackets I can say that their shell nylon material seems fragile but in fact provides enough protection while weighing almost nothing. This sleeping bag takes up almost no weight or size. However I do disagree with the temperature rating and think it should be moved up 10 degrees (wearing thermals) I had to wear down pants also at 35 degrees. I plan on getting another of their bags soon. I also like the draw chord near the feet which allows one to either quarter off the feet or make the bag shorter to save dead space for heat.

great summer bag for western US, accurate temp rating, very light and low volume

The MontBell U.L. Super Stretch Hugger is a pretty sweet sleeping bag. The 35 degree rating is very accurate. The bag itself weighs next to nothing at 1 lb 4oz (which is accurate, I measured it with a scale when the bag was in the stuff sack). This is perfect for me as I can feel constricted in normal sleeping bags as I am a side sleeper and generally hog the entire bed.

If there was one con, I have a hard time fitting this bag into the stuff sack. I still need to decide if I'll just take the extra time to put it in the stuff sack or get another stuff sack for it, but no use crying over that when the pros far outweigh this one con.

All that said, I don't think I'll ever go back to any other sleeping bag company for a while. I highly recommend this bag!
