Lightweight & warm. Durable?

MontBell makes excellent lightweight jackets. I especially like their Alpine Down Jacket and vest. This jacket has an exceptional amount of very good fill (800-fill), but I worry about the 15D airtight nylon. The tag on the jacket states that the shell is downproof, but will probably leak down soon. I would rather carry 2oz of extra durability in the shell.
