Moment Night Train Ski - 2009
Equal parts rockered and early-tapered powder fatty, park-savvy twintip, and groomer-ready carving ski, the Moment Night Train puts an end to your quiver once and for all. Moment included the best parts of every ski category to create a do-it-all beast, one that smears surfy powder turns as well as it rails carves on hardpack. Just like the song says, this freakish board rolls through freshies and variable snow like a freight train and flies over park and backcountry booters like an aeroplane. Still, the traditional sidecut and camber underfoot lets you lay train tracks on corduroy like Union Pacific. An aspen/ash core wrapped in a triaxial weave gives the Night Train a forgiving flex pattern that thrives in soft snow and soaks up landings. As if that weren't enough, Moment finished it off with a sunglass-wearing, lightning-breathing space wolf – definitely the coolest topsheet graphic we’ve seen in years.
Bottom Line: Appetite for powder destruction.
