Millet Replikan Climbing Shoe

Not as crazy tight as the other reviews say

This is my fourth pair of climbing shoes in the last year and half. I've bought all of them through Steep and Cheap or Backcountry themselves. I was initially concerned about the fit because of the reviews that I read, but they have stretched out a half size already. I usually wear a street shoe in a 81/2 to a 9 and I usually half to full size down for a climbing shoe and these are ideal with a half size down, but if you like them tight and can deal with the break in period, you can know that they are similar to Mad Rocks in break in stretch periods.

Great shoes, good grip and rubber. Innovative straps that tighten the toe box with only two straps. The color is more yellow then green and they are not as turned down as they look.

Good Shoes better edging and support than my mad rock super locos.

This shoe is great all around. It is a good medium flex shoe. It does not stretch a ton so I would only go down about a half size from your regular shoe size. There is a rad feature when you tighten up the top strap it tightens up the laces that are lower than the bottom strap. This gives you the feel of a three strap shoe but is not as tight and restraining. All and all a great shoe.

Tight!...(UPDATE 8/2)

...literally! and figuratively, I wear a size 11 men US (pumas) and purchased 10.5 US.They were very uncomfortable at first, but every time i slip them on they feel better.but they are wearing in really nicely, and they look really bad ass.Im not the biggest fan of the spiders on the sides. (overdone! but oh well.)overall these shoes are great...a little painful at first, but they have all of the grip I am looking for at a reasonable price.

UPDATE...
I am returning these shoes because they are extremely painful, and must be taken off once every three climbs!
