Millet Radikal Pro Mountaineering Boot - Men's

Tackle steep, snowy ridges, fat water ice, and technical mixed terrain with the Millet Men’s Radikal Pro Mountaineering Boot. This fully-waterproof, double-wall insulated boot is built for serious performance at altitude, and its phylon honeycomb construction, fleece lining, and Boa speed lacing system make for a warm, light, ass-kicking boot that will help you push your limits in alpine terrain. An integrated neoprene gaiter and stretchy PU storm flap keep out snow and debris, and the low-profile Vibram Teton sole handles rocky approaches like a champ.

Bottom Line: Get Radikal on technical alpine terrain.

These boots are certainly designed for technical mountaineering at high altitudes. The only concern with altitudes over 6000m is the extreme cold; the Radikal Pro is isothermal from -4° F to -13° F. If you are trekking they should work great, if pushing for a summit; check out the Millet Everest GTX Boot. (Isothermal to -75° F)
