Millet Instinct Stretch Jacket - Men's - 2009

Unfortunately, the human body doesn’t have an instinctual reflex that combats foul weather while we’re in the mountains. For that we have the Millet Men’s Instinct Stretch Jacket. This tough, stretchy jacket features waterproof breathable DryEdge shell fabric that blocks out snow, rain, or sleet on alpine climbs, alpine backpacking trips, and spring ski tours. The compressible, ergonomic design moves with your body and disappears in your pack when the conditions clear up. Silicone-reinforced shoulders stand up to the battering you’ll give them on long-exposed rock routes and multi-day excursions.

Great fit and feel

This is another excellent product from Millet. The fit and feel are excellent. The amount of stretch built in to this jacket and the athletic fit translate into comfort around the clock. Just a caution, don't rely on this to provide water resistance like a hardshell. I know the waterproof rating may lead you to think it would do just as well as a softshell in the rain, but take a close look at the zipper - it's a standard zipper like the one on your blue jeans and not a water resistant zipper like on a technical shell or the better softshells.

Sweet Jacket! I've never seen a waterproof/ breathable with this much stretch. Great fit and looks cool too! I'm very happy. Thanks BC.com!
