Metolius Screw-On Handholds - 10 Pack

When you're ready to build some serious crimp strength, get the Metolius 10 Pack Screw-On Handholds, and set some desperate problems with these tiny edges and slopers. Three-hole screw patterns keep these Metolius holds from spinning at the wrong moment and let you place them where bolt-on holds just won't fit.

Bottom Line: Bear down on the Metolius Screw-on Handholds and get stronger.

DO u just screw these on?
Can I put them on my room walls to climb or in a doorway?

Well I would say you could screw them on anywhere, but here is some advice. If you don't want them to rip right out, find a stud for them to screw to, because sheetrock is not going to handle the stress of your weight. Best idea is to get a piece of plywood, screw these to that, and bolt that to some studs on your wall.

Hi. I've recently had my kid's playhouse raised up to about 5 foot off the ground and am thinking of purchasing these to go on a wall to climb up instead of a ladder. Would these be suitable for my two kids to use as foot and hand holds? My oldest s only 5 years old.

Screw on "crimps" are smaller holds that are used to build strength. Most clubhouse/jungle gyms use holds called "juggs". They are a lot bigger and easier to wrap your hand around. Juggs would probably be better for a five year old, unless you wish do develop a serious climber. (here are some nice mini-jugs from metolius http://www.backcountry.com/store/MET0253/Metolius-Mini-Jug-Hold-Set-5-Pack.html
