Merrell Storm Jacket - Men's - 2009

The Merrell Men’s Storm Jacket gives you a lightweight rain coat that’s cut to look as great as it functions in wet weather. This waterproof jacket prevents a sudden mountain rainstorm from soaking you to the bone while allowing your skin to breathe when you’re trekking uphill. Merrell moved the shoulder seams down so that your pack doesn’t ride uncomfortably when you’re on the mountain, while higher front pockets allow easy access when you’re carrying a heavy load. Pit-zips dump excess heat, and the adjustable hood and draw cord hem provide personalized comfort in the backcountry or around town.

Bottom Line: Lightweight, waterproof, and stylish to boot.

65mph wind gusts and a downpour of rain, this jacket did a pretty good job. Light-weight, comfortable, and breathable.
