What kind of cycling, Dutch? Commuting? Then maybe they'd be ok. But I'm a big fan of sport-specific shoes for specific sports. When they say multisport here, I think they mean more hiking, trail running, and climbing approach.

"open-mesh uppers, so your feet can feel the wind" I'm guessing they aren't waterproof if you can feel the wind through them.These are good water shoes. They dry quicker because of the mesh upper.

I'm into a sport called Le Parkour, or free running. This sport puts a whole lot of wear and tear on shoes. If I purchased these shoes would they not last the harshness of the sport, or would they hold their own and last for a while?

Hmm, being that there really is no shoe for such a sport, I would have to say, who knows. Try them out for us and tell us how they fly. I know montrails rock and I love my boots. Plus if they stink BC always has a sick return policy anyways.They're quite a bit tougher than regular running shoes for your sport.
