Merrell Chameleon Arc Ventilator Shoe - Women's - 2008

Getting into a hot, stuffy car during the summer can be brutal. Fast-paced hikes in suffocating shoes can also be brutal. Thanks to mesh portals in the Merrell Women's Chameleon Arc Ventilator Shoes, your feet benefit from windows-down and sunroof-open airflow. Lest you get worried about support, Merrell made the Chameleon Arc Ventilator Shoes with its Q-Form alignment system. This system uses air cushioning and support that helps with both supination and over-pronation when you hike. A Vibram sole provides a broad base and grippy tread.

not what I expected

I bought these shoes 4 months ago through back country because I needed a great pair of shoes for trekking. The shoes are comfortable, nice, but horribly slippery. I can't trust them for walking on wet ground. I'm so dissapointed at Merrel because these shoes were supposed to be firm and steady in any type of surface. Wet wood, tiles, and rocks are dangerous ground for me. The problem is that I'm now in China, I left my hiking boots at home as I brought these and now it's gonna be a nightmare to find good shoes here and my number size... Too bad. I still love my shoes but for sunny dry days :(

I went hiking right after I bought these shoes and they were extremely comfortable even if I had not had time to break them in. I loved them. Only design thing is that they look a little too wide to my taste. But considering it is a pair of hiking shoes I am super happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Best shoes Ever !

We traveled Europe last year. Climbing high and low, wet and dry. These are the best shoes ever. I just ordered 2 more pairs. I work on concrete all day. These shoes are great. I love the high arch. I am some what of a heavy person who finds shoes hard to find. Thanks Merrell for such a great shoes. Keeps your feet dry too!
