I had heard about Maui Jim's and their excellence (optical clarity, comfort, ruggedness) in the sun. Maui Jim's are the best sunglasses I've ever had. They are the first non-prescription sunglasses I've worn. I wear glasses and just recently started wearing contacts. The clarity is amazing. Colors pop out at you. The wrap around design gives great outward visibility. I originally got the Maui Jim Kaimana's (http://www.backcountry.com/store/MAU0087/Maui-Jim-Kaimana-Sunglasses.html), but they didn't fit my face as well as the Stingray. Excellent choice and excellent company to buy from!

Bought this pair after 10 years of another MJ model. The style and polarization keep migraines to a minimum for me. The spring load on the hinge allows for a comfortable fit. Service and support are great and quality is high. Expensive glasses but they are worth the long term investment.

LOL!!! I had to pull mine out when i read this question and read the description. THEY DONT EXIST! mine have stationary, stick-on nose pads that do not adjust. Thats a misprint!!!

I owned a pair of Maui's for the past 5 years. These have unbelievable polarization. I sail a lot and look good doing it in these. They wrap the sides of my face perfectly.

Used for blue water sailing, could easily look up at the sails all day, could identify the reefs, I would forget I had them on when the sunset! I Highly recommend!

YES, You can buy either the Hookipa Reader or Makaha Reader and they both come in powers of +2.50 (or 1.50 or 2.00). Most other styles can have your Rx put in them by Maui Jim, but that needs to be done through an eye Dr.

These glasses are the shiz!!! They kick my Oakley flak jackets buns. The polarizaion is like high def. Fit is great, and they make ugly people look good!!! Seriously, the style is great and these lenses rock!!!

AWESOME SUNGLASSES!!! Enough said, but I will also add that after spending three months trying on almost every polarized "glass lens" sunglasses made, these are the BEST! Purchasing these sunglasses will be money well spent....you won't regret it!!
