Maui Jim Pele Sunglasses - 2008

Just like the Hawaiian goddess, Pele, protects her people, the Maui Jim Pele Sunglasses will protect your peepers. These super lightweight sunglasses have a rimless, hingeless Grilamid frame that won't hinder your activities—whether you're fishing for Swordfish or relaxing on the beach. The Pele Sunglass's PolarizedPlus2 lens technology eliminates all glare so you stay squint-free all day. Maui Jim suggests these sunglasses for round or oval face shapes.

Bottom Line: The Maui Jim Pele Sunglasses protect your baby blues from UV and fight off all glare.

The Pele is a small face style. Try the Maui Jim Hookipa, Hurricane, Topsail, Akamai and many more for a larger face. btw everything Maui Jim makes is polarized!

Hi Brad; I have a wide face as well and it can be challenging. I'm not too familiar with the Maui Jim line, but their glasses are polarized,I believe. Square or modified square lens sunglasses that might work for you are Serengti Nimbus,Serengeti Zina, Columbia River High Route 7030,and Coyote Santa Fe. Coyote Sedona wraparound Polarchromatics will work great for a wide face. Those Oakley Mag Four's on sale at this site may be big enough for you.Good luck. Mark

comfy!

This glass is one of the most comfortable glasses ever! It is very light weight and hugs your head. Some people have had issues with the arms breaking, so I spoke with Maui Jim and they said if I do have a problem, arms are FREE forever! So, not only are you getting a great sunglass, but you are getting a better warranty. I think if there is a problem, what matters is how the company backs up their product. I have owned several Mauis and will own several more!

Sure can. Buy them here, take them to a local Maui Jim optometrist and they'll get them done for you. I got mine back in 4 days. Nice and easy!

Loved the glasses, BUT they did not last long without breaking at the temple. Titanium version is better.
