The Kahuna's high-quality lens combines PolarizedPlus® Technology and optically correct, distortion free vision with a carefully crafted frame. A polarized lens' primary function is to reduce glare—that is, light reflected from a flat surface which greatly diminishes color and contrast. fit like a glove

after sight-saving eye surgery I treated myself to these high quality shades and I have no regrets. They fit like a glove and are soothing to the eyes in the brightest glare...not to mention they look good too !!!

Great sunglasses - Great service

I love these sunglasses. Also, the lifetime guarantee from Backcountry came in handy. My first pair broke after only a few days, and they sent me a brand new pair with no hassle.

Worked great on in the Carribean, so I figure they'd work well anywhere!

Good for large nose bridge

I had a pair of these (lost the past summer after 5 years or so). Great glasses. A tad heavy, but fit my wide nose bridge particularly well, and a bit clearer than polycarbonate.

My favorite shades

This is the fourth pair I've owned. Everytime I've lost or broken a pair (always my fault) I look around, but they're still my favorite. The look classy anywhere, but they're also light enough to run in.

Best Ever

I have been wearing Maui Jim Kahuna sun glasses for just over two years. I purchased them to replace a lost pair of Maui Jim Waimea Bay. Since the very first time I tried them on I was unable to find any other brand to compare. Do yourself and your eyes a favor and try Maui Jim's. Hands down the best sunglasses available.

Excellent Glasses Excellent Company

I bought my Maui Jim's over 10 years ago and was nervous about paying so much for sunglasses. These are worth EVERY penny. Recently, I sent them in for repairs for a chipped frame and Maui Jim's customer service is PHENOMENAL. Helpful, friendly, polite and my sunglasses look BRAND NEW.

Top notch optical quality lenses, excellent well made and comfortable frames. I bought a pair 6 years ago and just bought a back up - same great quality! It is good to see some products maintaining their great quality! Best fitting sunglasses I have ever had.
