I actually bought these for my wife, who likes the uni-lens sort of sunglass design. She likes these so much that she now has 3 of them.

I bought the Maui Jim's Kapalua sunglasses for myself, which are similar but have two distinct (regular) frameless lenses. They are very light and I am very happy with them. Both designs are all so light that you barely know they are there, and if they are perched atop your head you can forget that they are up there.

I normally wear Oakley Jawbones for cycling and various designer sunglasses (Tom Ford, Dior, Prada, that sort of thing) for other use, and these have pretty much replaced the latter group.

These are the lightest sunglasses I have ever bought! Not too tight or loose; just right. I have tried other sunglasses and they are usually tight on my head. I don't have a big head. I fly 6 hours a day and these made me feel very comfortable and it doesn't feel you have them on!

I really love these glasses, great fit, super light, perfect for outdoor adventures as they stay on...HOWEVER. I have had three pairs in the last year and a half due to a manufacturer's defect. This is what happens- because these are a tension fit frame, the ear pieces have broke at the temple- THREE TIMES. I don't want to say that I don't LOVE Maui Jim's because I do- they have the most superior lenses but beware- unless you are really careful with these frames you might be sending yours in to get replaced. Just food for thought.
