Eggs, potatoes, mushrooms and garlic. It's the perfect breakfast. Eggs from chickens raised without antibiotics and fed 100% organic feed.

Bottom Line: Delectable backcountry breakfast.

Great breakfast

Easy preparation and great taste. They do need more water for mixing than the package states. I just thinned it to the consistency of pancake batter, and was very happy with the results.

Breakfast Frittatas

Messy and difficult to make. Taste is fair. Cereal, dry if necessary, is the way to go, or breakfast bars.

not for light backpacking

Took this on a backpacking trip. I thought it was like all the other meals where you just pour water in the bag so I was really disappointed when I read that I needed a skillet. Needless to say, I was not real impressed after hauling it around for a couple days.

Dry!!

We had no problems with cooking these, it was pretty simple. My wife enjoyed these but I found them much to dry and really didn't like them. Maybe if we had added a bit more water...

Bring syrup

By:
May 2, 2006

These were very good and healthy, but I guess I'm not a huge gourmet in the outdoors. I craved for basic buttermilk. If you like a more fancy breakfast, others in camp enjoyed. However, we all agreed they would be better w/a little syrup or fruit. They're dry (but tasty) alone.
