Marmot Work Glove

The ever-popular, multi-function Marmot Work Glove thrives on the slopes, in the patrol shack, and in the backcountry. The Work Glove brings years of proven performance and reliability, all thanks to its heavy-duty, waterproof breathable MemBrain stretch fabric back and reinforced goatskin palm. The DriClime 3D wicking lining keeps your hands dry, while Spirafil 150 insulation keeps them toasty warm with minimal bulk.

Bottom Line: The plow horse of winter gloves.

Sweet for winter working

By: Backcountry.com Sponsored Athlete
May 29, 2009

I used these all winter shoveling at Alta, Utah where it snowed a whopping 700" this year. They held up great and I plan on using them again next year. Warm, but not too warm for medium temp days.

Hi there cha2995938,

These gloves do not have a removable liner - we just checked on it and corrected the technical description. Thanks for the heads up! Enjoy!

Best gloves I've owned

By:
December 29, 2008

I've had my work gloves for 4 winters now which is amazing in itself. Sure the insulation is a little packed out as you'd expect, but these gloves rock. I worked as a pro ski patroller and totally blew out the seams of two sets of Black Diamond gauntlet gloves in short order. These Marmots are super durable! As far as warmth, I admit they will not keep your hands toasty if you're gripping cold snowblower handles at 10 below for an hour, but nothing will. I was out 2 nights ago snowshoeing for an hour at 5 deg F gripping poles and my hands were toasty. The only winter gloves I'd buy! Definitely too warm for spring skiing.

Clip them by that to carry them wrist-down so they don't get crap in them (snow, dirt, whatever).

Big yellow!!

By:
October 22, 2008

Last year I loved hiking when it was freezing
out , my gear was great but the one thing that always made me stop was cold hands!!
so I looked around this year for some high end gloves
after alot of research I looked at these and the guide gloves
Just couldnt see spending the 180.00 for the bd set and the itchy inners was the deal breaker.
Very happy with my choice may not be as warm as the guides but will do the job in 0 degrees

the exum uses membrain and fleece lining and the work uses gore-tex and spirafil insulation. also, the way the leather is worked around the glove is differently in both.

Marmot work glove is crap!!!!!!!!!!

By:
November 20, 2008

Well bad news I must take back my 1st account of these when they
cold temps hit these gloves are useless . around 38 my fingers froze!!!
Marmot needs to back up what they sell . off the rack 20.00 gloves are warmer
Get me wrong they look great, but the spirafill insulation is a joke!!! I also was very
upset on a pair of thremo underwear they made junk ! big name in mountain gear but its a worthless
If you are a real hiker in cold weather stay clear of anything these guys sell!!! And they are in every major ems store
Paid 85.00 for gloves that are 100 pct trash!!! marmot for life yah right!!!!!!!!
