Marmot Trestles 20 Semi Rec Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Spirafil

The Marmot Trestles 20F Semi Rec Sleeping Bag uses Wave Construction to make sure you stay warm and dry in wet conditions. An extra layer of Spirafil synthetic insulation covers an overlapping wave of insulation shingles, eliminating heat escape and making it very difficult for moisture to work its way in. A snagless draft tube blocks air from passing through the zipper, and easy-grab draw cords let you make hood adjustments in the middle of the night without having to turn your headlamp on. Two-way zipper sliders allow you to zip two sleeping bags together—for survival purposes, of course.

I would like to get this bag for my daughter and son in law.

I would like to get this bag for my daughter and son in law. She is 5'6 and he is 6'3. In order to zip together do they need to be the same size?

spent the night at 10,000 feet. inexpensive bivy+rain,hail and snow= bad night. bag was drenched by 6 am but inside was dry! had to abandon ship by 7am it was sinking, water pooled up inside bivy and came in the zipper area. Bag dries out quickly and i love the extra room. I am comforatable to 30 a little cold at 20. great bag for the buck

I'm exactly 6' and I got a regular bag. You can stretch out some still, as the bag iteslf stretches some. Plus, you have less space to warm up with your body heat so you get warm faster.

The regular is also 1/4 lb lighter, though since it's a heavy bag, you probably aren't concerned about weight.

Mark,I have the Trestles 15 long bag, and compressed in its sack it comes to 10" high by 9" wide or just larger than a basketball. This bag wieghs almost a full lb more and is a little bigger, so you can expect it to stuff larger.
