Marmot Solar Flare Fleece Jacket - Men's - 2007

Take shelter from ridge-top gales in the Marmot Men's Solar Flare Fleece Jacket. This highly wind-resistant fleece jacket ensures warmth no matter how hard Old Man Winter blows. Using Polartec Wind Pro fleece, the Solar Flare Fleece Jacket comes in handy near either equinox. Marmot designed this versatile fleece jacket with articulated sleeves and their Angel Wing Movement fit. This construction leaves you arms free to move without exposing your belly to the Old Man's blustering.

Bottom Line: Zip into the Marmot Solar Flare Fleece Jacket and forget about windchill.

Very warm and wind resistant

I love this jacket. It is very warm and windproof. I wear it on cold mornings in the winter in eastern Washington while riding by bike in to work. It really cuts down on the wind and cold.

the Solar is the best of fleeces

The Solar fleece is true to size. I ordered an XXL because that is what I always order. The Solar XXL was too big. I had to return it. I will order an XL.

The mens Marmot products that I have owned are simply top notch and so is this fleece. Marmot is expensive, but you get a high quality product and best of all, you will never be sorry.

A satisfied customer

After two months of using this jacket in Patagonia and Chicago here is my assessment. The jacket performed very well in the 50 miles/hour winds of Patagonia with temperatures in the mid 30's F. Below 28 F you should wear a soft shell or hard shell on top of it. Just what I expected.
