Marmot Silkweight Boxer - Men's - 2007

The Marmot Silkweight Boxer short provides a silky-smooth layer between you and your pants. Whether you're ski touring, climbing, or headed to work, the Silkweight will keep you comfy and your day flowing smoothly. A short inseam makes them ideal for layering and prevents bunching. When working hard, the DriClime moisture management takes over, and the BacteriaStat coating keeps them fresh, even after a full season of wear—you do have to wash them, though.

Bottom Line: Get the boxers to complete your Silkweight base layer collection.

My new favorite layer

These chonies are so comfortable you hardly notice them. I do concur with the reviewer who said the fly opens a little easy and the elastic band can roll. The pros, like super fast drying and just the sheer comfort, way outweigh the cons.

These should have gotten size M. I am 5'11 waist 32. They are a little big. Otherwise they are super comfortable. Dan

YumYum

These boxers are sweet. They don't ride up like you think silk would, because the waist fabric is not silky. They breathe great while snowboarding or just working. Very comfy.

Silky feel but a couple of flaws.

Great fabric. Dry and silky, and antimicrobial too. Cut very nicely too, a three-piece pattern with seams on each side rather than a two-piece pattern with one seam down the middle. Even washed in cold water and drip dried, the waistband shrinks a little. It curls up during the day, so the waist bites a bit and when you take them off you've got elastic-marks etched in your flesh.

Marmot Silkweight

High quality as expected from Marmot. The silk weight boxers are not as tight fitting as the mid weight style. Comfortable and light.

Comfortable boxers

By:

The fabric in these boxers is very light and comfortable. The fly tends to open easily causing some awkward discomfort. The top of the waist band tends to roll over too. I would recommend them if don't mind sewing the fly shut. Why do they put a fly on boxers anyway?

Best boxer shorts made

I ditched all my cotton boxer shorts and went with these. These marmot boxer shorts have a comfortable fit. I prefer them to the Patagonia Capilene boxers. Cotton sucks.
