Marmot Shasta Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

The Marmot Women's Shasta Short-Sleeve Shirt uses a combination of quick drying nylon and odor-fighting Cocona polyester to provide maximum technical performance. No matter how demanding your trip to the mountains, the Marmot Shasta Shirt handles whatever you throw its way.

Bottom Line: An hour in the hills or a month in the mountains—it doesn't matter when you have the Marmot Shasta Shirt.

Love this Marmot shirt

By:
October 2, 2009

Nice and cool for exercising. The usual Marmot flattering fit w/a bit longer in the back princess seam type styling. Had to buy a size larger than usual. Marmot is usually true to size but I liked one size up better. Got 'em on sale for 10 bucks so I got two. Went back for more and they were $20+. Glad I got two! love 'em! Every Marmot product I've ever had rocks (mostly ski gear - this is my first summer shirt purchase). They never disappoint.

Awesome shirt

Great fit, keeps me dry, and I like the v-neck -- it keeps me from feeling like I'm being choked.

Why is the back made of a couple of different panels of fabric?

Why is the back made of a couple of different panels of fabric? Does it have some pragmatic purpose or is it just for looks?

The back panels are the same Nylon/ Cocona polyester blend as the rest of the shirt just in abstract color. Though the additional seem does provide an athletic fit, these panels serve no additional function.

Great Backpacking shirt

By:
April 20, 2009

This shirt is loose enough to move comfortably without binding, but is fitted enough to sit well under a fleece. The V-neck is great and I like that it is long enough to tuck into hiking pants and ski pants to keep my pack from rubbing. It is a practical, well designed shirt. I would highly recommend it.

Nice but snags

By:
July 29, 2009

This shirt is great. I ordered the green tea/sage which is more bright green than sage. It helped keep me cool while camping but it snagged easily. However, I liked it so much, I ordered another one.
