Marmot Pounder Plus Sleeping Bag: 25 Degree PrimaLoft

The Marmot Pounder Plus 25F PrimaLoft sleeping bag is a lightweight weather-resistant 3-season bag that's so durable you can use it without a tent. Crazy. The Pounder's A-Flex construction keeps warm air from escaping and moisture from intruding. Just like your Marmot PrimaLoft gloves, the left-zip Pounder Plus keeps you warm in wet, cold conditions, without bulking up on weight or mass. If you're alpine camping, where the weather can change in an instant, the Pounder Plus is the perfect bag.

Bottom Line: Keep the weather protection and lose the weight with the Pounder Plus.

Best 3 Season out there!!

This bag is awesome! It is amazing how light weight it is and how warm. It compresses really well for a synthetic bag and is not much bigger that my down when stuffed. Is very well made and time will tell for the durability test. Is in my opinion the ultimate backpacking bag. Am very happy with my purchase. Do it, Do it!!

This is a fine lightweight bag. On our recent backpack in Yellowstone, I found staying warm and sleeping well at 25 degrees F also requires (a) wearing silk longjohns and (b) thermal shelter of a tent.

Otherwise on august nights when the water bottles iced it would have been uncomfortably cold

Minimalist this is for you!

If you hate bulk and weight and need performance you can go ahead and add to cart. The Pounder Plus 25 is excedingly light and packs up tight for maximum portability. I have used this bag in various conditions since last year and it has not dissapointed. Temperatures from about 20s up to 50s and I have not been uncomfortable at any point. If you have a tent and this bag you should be very pleased with your nights sleep. For 20s you may need some layering depending on individual preference. Overall a solid choice and cool looking bag, I honestly think you can't go wrong selecting this bag.

Awesome for everything above freezing

This sleeping bag is very light and packs down extremely well for a synthetic bag. I have used mine while backpacking in the Alaska Range and kayaking on the Prince William Sound so it has seen a wide variety of conditions. It kept me warm on all but a couple of nights where the temp dipped below freezing and I couldn't have expected it to keep me warm and comfortable at those temps anyway. I'm a warm sleeper so having the double zipper was nice to open up a vent by my feet. The hood adjusts easily and comfortably on those colder nights. Definitely a great summer/early fall bag for a wet mountain environment.

It's light, packable, and an all-round great 3-season bag for the US. Just a great bag.
