When I wear lightweight underwear + Marmot Meteor Jacket + hardshell membrane, I feel like in the Russian baths. Very soft, I like a napped inside part. Pleasant red colour. Windproof features meet requirements.

Warm and comfortable

I have worn the Marmot Meteor on two surf trips. The first trip was cold with quite a strong NW wind. This jacket was warm and stopped the wind chill. The meteor is also a great jacket to put on when you are cold because it protects you from the external environment and warms you quickly with it's soft lining. A very warm flexible jacket that would be great as a mid layer when things get really cold.

Very soft and comfortable. Not as wind proof as some fleece (e.g. Patagonia R4) but much softer and more comfortable. Will be ideal as an insulating layer under soft shell or on cool days when the wind isn't whipping. True to size.

I bought the Meteor Fleece Jacket last year as an insulating layer under a shell ski jacket. It works well when the temperature drops to below 10 degrees and you plan to be out all day.
