I'm looking for something to wear in the city on days where I would usually wear my 700-fill down jacket but cannot b/c of heavy rain - would this provide similar warmth as the aforementioned or is there a better solution?

What is the difference between the Launch Component and the Bastione Component other than price? I am leaning towards the Basitone, but I am curious as to what makes this one better or why its more expensive?

Upgrades from the Bastione to the Launch are: powder skirt, pass pocket on sleeve, bonded water resistant zippers on all external pockets, tricot lining on collar and shoulders, and a goggle pocket. So, aside from the style lines, the Launch has a power skirt, more on-board storage, and is a tad bit warmer.
