Great vest overall. When I first got this vest, I wore it to make more of a "fashion" statement, but I've found that it's warmer than my down filled vests that I would consider more of my "go to" vest for warmth and versatility. Love the fur lined hood, and I can't even count the number of positive comments I've received.

This vest is so beautiful. It is one of the warmest vests that I've tried and it looks fabulous on! The only 3 things that I would change would be the length of the vest, the messureent in the chest and the hood. I am 5'9" and and look better in a longer vest. I also feel that there could be more room in the chest area. When it's unzipped, it feels great. Zipped...a little tight. The gorgeous hood should be removeable. I live in NJ and would use the hood occasionally, but for practical purposes, I would prefer it off.

Great looking vest and very comfortable. When I am in a hurry, the fur will sometimes get caught up in the zipper.

They're both! If you machine wash you should use the hand wash cycle w/ an extra rinse and cold water w/o fabric softner, but I'm anal retentive!Hope that helps.
