Marmot EcoPro Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Synthetic

Marmot designed the EcoPro Sleeping Bag to keep you warm and dry in the wettest of environments. Overlapping shingle construction keeps you extra warm when the temps drop, and recycled material in the insulation, lining, and shell of the bag helps to ensure your eco-footprint is non-existent.

  • Wave Construction overlaps insulation shingles to give you more insulation and extra warmth
  • Velcro-free face muff keeps the drawcord and zipper away from your face
  • Two-way zipper sliders let you dump excess heat or mate it with another
  • Insulated draft tube eliminates cold leaks through the zipper
  • Stash pocket holds nighttime essentials close
  • Hang loops let you air out the bag with ease

Bottom Line: Save the planet in comfort and warmth.

It will work fine. The Long fits up to someone who is 6ft 6in.

Too cold

I was hoping this bag would work great...and it just DIDN'T. The material is really slick and comfortable and the design is on point (the glow in the dark zipper pull is a plus) but the bag had me cold at temps in the 30's. To agree with other reviews of this bag it just does not live up to its 15degree rating. It is a comfortable bag though with enough room to sleep in (i'm 6'0" 190). Footbox is larger than most bags i've owned! It does compact pretty small if you use a compression sack. Bottom line...use this bag for warmer weather not the 15degrees Marmot says

I go backpacking a lot and I am looking for a sleeping bag that is within a reasonable price, packs down to a small size, and still provides a decent amount of warmth. Is this the bag I am looking for?

Anthony,
With the proper sleeping pad, it will work great. I have a similar synthetic 15 deg bag by Marmot, used it last Oct in WY and CO mtns and it worked fine on nights in the 20's and 30's. In it's stuff sack, it packs down to around the size of a volleyball/basketball.

Happy Camper

I just used this bag on a early season snowy trip up Pikes Peak and during a blustery storm with temps in the low teens, the bag just worked. It's a little tight around the feet, but overall was a good fit (I'm 6'3x190). The stuff sac is a bit tight, but it works. The 'Eco' footprint is cool too.
