Marmot Chamonix Glove - Men's - 2007

The Marmot Men's Chamonix Gloves provide incredible water protection and warmth for skiers who take their turns seriously. Three-layer Gore-Tex prevents moisture from reaching your hand no matter how slushy the snow is. For really cold days, SpiraFil synthetic insulation gives your hands the warmth they need to stay toasty as you ski from first chair to last. Marmot made the Chamonix Gloves gauntlet quickdraw draw cords, safety leashes, and an oh-so-soft nose wipe.

definitely just a gore-tex insert

Great pair of gloves, but don't expect the full waterproof/breathable benefits of a full gore-tex gloves. Will definitely be wet at the end of a good long day of skiing, but your hands, in general, will still be warm and basically dry. Not an expedition glove, but a pretty darn good ski glove for the price.
