Marmot CWM EQ Sleeping Bag: Minus 40 Degree Down - 2005

The Marmot CWM Sleeping Bag - Down minus 40 Degree, was built for extreme conditions found in places like Alaska and the Himalayas, so you know it'll keep you snug. The Welsh word for cirque or hanging valley is Cwm, like those you'll find in rugged mountains where this bag feels at home. Premium quality 900-fill goose down insulates this rugged bag, and a Velcro-free draft collar keeps the heat in while exempting you from nasty facial/neck burns. If the temperature is dropping, and you need to camp, this is the only bag to pack.

Bottom Line: The Marmot CWM is tough as nails outside, soft and cuddly inside, just like you.

Best bag made !!

The CWM EQ -40 with 900 fill is a huge improvement over the older versions. Fully lofted, no flat spots 12in loft minimum out of the box. It has the best baffle design, and I have tried most winter bags. I tell you this is the one to buy!! You won't be sorry. One more thing, nobody makes a footbox like Marmot.

This bag is toasty warm. No complaints about staying warm in this bag. The down stays put and keeps you warm all over. The foot area is especially warm with its extra protection. The only negative is it is difficult to stuff into the stuff sack. It is almost impossible.

Marmont CWM sleepinmg bag

By:

I am what is called a cold sleeper.
I can sleep in Tuolumne Meadows with freezing nights in this bag and be too warm. I love it and will use it ANYWHERE.
It is pricey but you will never buy another bag again. Too warm is better than too cold.
