Mammut Tubular Dyneema 6mm Contact Sling - 2006

Mammut's ultra-thin slings just got thinner with the introduction of the 6mm Tubular Dyneema Contact Slings. If you're looking to cut down bulk on your beefy trad rack, these tiny slings are the answer. Though only 6mm thick, the Tubular Dyneema Contact Slings are rated to a beefy 22kN. Mammut makes them in a 60cm over-the-shoulder length for general use and in a 120cm double-length size for slinging granite horns and building anchors.

Bottom Line: If the Tubular Dyneema Contact Slings got any thinner, you'd confuse them with dental floss.

Ill be honest, my first impression of these slings was, well, fright. Although I knew they could support 22KN they're weight and appearance didn’t seem to support that. That impression quickly faded. These slings are awesome, light and strong. I am totally impressed with these slings.
