Why are these 1 year warranty and the LTH are lifetime? I doubt anyone would spend 20 more dollars to get a 1 year warranty....

Might have something to do with the Gore-Tex liners, seeing as it is a different manufacturer than Mammut. If you like these better anyway, then get them, backcountry.com has a 100% guarantee.

I will say these boots are a make-over of the GTX by Raichle and they are wonderful. Easy on the feel and rugged. If 1 year makes it not a deal then the backcountry 100% customer satisfaction should make it very appealing!
