Best softshell I've found...

Ok, so I'm a regular on SAC and Tramdock and am always looking for the perfect jackets for various wintertime activities. I picked up several jackets last year and this remains my go-to jacket for anything aerobic. It breathes like a champ, but retains enough warmth that it can be used around town too. Plus it just looks hella good. It's just water-resistant enough to shed most anything you'll encounter touring. I'm not sure I'd trust this in a really heavy-wet snowfall, but for typical wasatch powder, this is all you'll need. Haven't tried this jacket with a helmet, but it seems like it would accomodate one, albeit a bit snug. I'm 6'0 and about 200 lbs and the large fits perfect. It's an athletic cut, but allows adequate room for light layering. Used this on a day about -10 degrees F and had an UnderArmour Cold Gear base with an Icebreaker 220 and was perfect. Love it!
