Mammut Extreme Hybrid Jacket - Men's - 2007
The Mammut Men's Extreme Hybrid Jacket combines hardshell and softshell fabrics, so you can reap the benefits of both during your aerobic alpine adventures. Durable three-layer DRYtech material at the shoulders, hood, and forearms resists abrasion and blocks wind and water. The rest of the jacket consists of flexible and highly breathable Schoeller NanoSphere, which resists precip up to the point of continuous slanted sleet. Long Underarm zips ventilate during sweaty ascents. Mammut gave the Extreme Hybrid two large chest pockets and small arm storage pockets, all of which remain easily accessible when you wear a harness. This backcountry shell's active, ergonomic cut fits well with a pack, layers, or that aforementioned harness, and it won't restrict your movements while you make those perfect ice-axe placements.
Bottom Line: Feel stiff and stuffy in your Gore-Tex shell? Switch to Mammut's Extreme Hybrid for improved flexibility and climate control.
