Montrail Hardrock Trail Running Shoe - Women's - 2008

Inspired by the Hardrock 100 ultra race, the Montrail Hardrock Trail Running Shoe excels on the rough, rocky terrain of its namesake. The Hardrock also works well on rugged dayhikes or fastpacking adventures. A full-length TPU plate protects your foot from trail debris, and the shoe's multidirectional lugs give you added stability on those extra rough sections. Montrail updated the Hardrock this year with a Gryptonite sole for maximum traction in wet and dry conditions.

Comfortable for the long haul

I've never done 100 miles, but the Hardrocks have been sweet to my feet on my long days. Good cushioning and they're tough enough for rocky trails.

No the sizing is not different. I believe all that shows up on the sight is what they have in stock. I would call Backcountry directly and see if they can special order the shoe for you. Hope this helps!

I usually wear the Hurricane's but went with the Hardrock this summer- Loved them so much bought two pairs. Great traction, not to heavy, breathable and stiff. Great for long rocky descents.
