Heat your oven to 225 degrees, stick the Montrail Men's Molokai Sandals in for a minute or two, take ‘em out, and put them on to mold them to your feet. The thermo-moldable footbed gives a truly custom fit. Layers of cushy Montrail CTX footbed cover a high-density midsole, so these flip-flops feel soft and cushy and remain durable for years of wear. Montrail gave the Molokai Sandals a high-traction tread for solid footing while you're scrambling around the campsite or lounging around the lake.
Bottom Line: Get therapeutic support and comfort from the Montrail Molokai Sandals.
If you are shopin' around for the best flops with the best support you found em! My feet pronate pretty bad so wearing flip-flops was a no go until I got a pair of these - no pain ever, super tough, great traction = GREAT VALUE!!
I have no arch and knee problems and needed more support but still wanted to wear a sandal. This shoe is perfect for what I need and use them daily. I have no knee pain while wearing these sandals. They are light and have great support and tread. Will buy another pair when these wear out!
the title says it all - I love these flip flops. it took a day or two to brake in but they are awesome. best feature about them is the high heal cup, it gives just the right amount of support.
I'm a fan of Montrail's trail running shoes (have an older pair of Hardrocks and a new pair of Continental Divides), so in preparation for an upcoming trip to Maui (leaving tomorrow!) I figured a new pair of flip-flops would be in order. In general I prefer closed toed shoes (Keen's, for example), but the last time I wore those on the beach I found that sand gets in and doesn't get out. So yeah, these Molokai's should be great for the usual hanging out, and the sole feels comfortable enough and has enough tread on the bottom that any light treks shouldn't be an issue. I've been wearing them for at least an hour or two a day since they arrived and I'd say they are more comfortable than your typical flip-flop.
They run about a 1/2 size large, so scale down to fit. They have great arch support and a heel cup that I never been able to find before. They are perfect for those who have foot problems and have been searching for a sandal that provides comfort and support.
A podiatrist recommended I find these. I have bad feet and live in flip-flops and have not found one that has good support. These are the most comfortable after a long run, or when my feet hurt I put these on and they are better than my orthodics. I put them in the oven and baked the foam for a truly custom fit. You have to try these.
If you live in flip flops and would like to have more support, this is definitely the sandal for you. Recent medical reports reveal that podiatrists have found foot and leg related problems in teens and twenty-somethings that are normally seen in the elderly because the people wear flip flops all the time. This sandal would solve the problems. The cupped heel, and heat molded custom fitting helps to create a supportive foot bed that goes far and beyond any other flip flops out there. It's a little pricey at $50 but well worth the investment.
My wife got a pair of these last year and they were clearly superior to anything I'd seen. Now that I have a pair I find that they are as great as they looked. Highly recommended.
i bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them. personally i think they could have a cleaner design/style, but it sounds like the comfort and the heat moldable comformability (is that word?) more than over-ride that point. He hardly ever wears real shoes because of an old broken toe that doesn't sit right in shoes, so he wears these almost everyday.
