Montrail Odyssey Trail Running Shoes - Men's - 2006

Run a couple miles to the trailhead in the Montrail Odyssey Men's Trail Running Shoes, then do an easy lap through the woods and take the abandoned railroad line on the leg home. Montrail made the lightweight Odyssey Trail Running Shoes as a hybrid for running on knee-grinding streets and soft off-camber trails. A low-density heel softens heel strike on the road, while a stiffer forefoot lends solid footing on the trail. Montrail gave their lightest shoes a gel pad in the forefoot for comfort on the road and protection on the trail. The Odyssey Shoe's medium-volume forefoot is lined with seamless mesh for unmatched breathability and smooth comfort when you run without socks.

Montrail Odyssey Trails Running Shoes

The Odyssey's have a good shoe sole; running downhill or across rocks is painless. They're a good hybrid from trail to road but don't soften very easily in colder weather (under 35 degrees). Excellent support. Might be the best trail shoe I've used. As a former Nike user, I would not return to Nike.

I love everything about this shoe. I used to be a huge fan of the Adidas Trail Response, but the support that these shoes provide is far better.

you'll stay cool in these... mesh uppers keep the airflow... and the softest most supportive soles I have ever felt! 5 stars all the way!!
