Mountain Hardwear Switch 5 Sleeping Bag: 5 Degree Synthetic - 2008

The Mountain Hardwear Switch 5 Sleeping Bag lets you adjust its girth for maximum comfort. Mountain Hardwear gave this five-degree sleeping bag its Quantum expander, which lets you add eight inches to the girth. Keep the expander closed for heat-retaining mummy warmth on a chilly night. On a warm night, or if you need some extra room to move around, unzip the Switch's expander and spread out. This synthetic sleeping bag compresses easily despite its added girth, so it doesn't fill your pack. Plus, synthetic insulation is a good choice for trips on which you might encounter precipitation since it keeps you warm even when it's wet.

Bottom Line: This expandable sleeping bag lets you sleep comfortably outdoors during spring, summer, and fall.

They might vanish. Just kidding. If the zippers are of a similar size and length you should not have a problem. Good luck!

Very comfortable bag, the variable circumference using the unique extra zipper system really does create enough room to roll over without getting entangled in the bag. Even with the wider setting, too warm above freezing, at least for this sleeper, without unzipping the bag part way. I would buy this bag again based on 4 nights experience, but a move to Montana in December will put it to the test :)
